A square stainless steel container manufactured by Applied Sonics is pictured at right. This container is compatible with the widest variety of sample materials, and provides a very uniform width along the entire container height .  This uniformity results in the most accurate of all stability profiles for sample testing.

The base of the stainless tube is designed to fit securely into the standard support of the SCA scanner.  An aluminum top caps the container, and it is held down by the sample retaining rod.  Sample volumes up to 120 ml can be studied with this container.
